missing

Missing was performed to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013, in London at the Vault Festival and the New Diorama Theatre, and at the Coventry Belgrade Theatre.

In Britain, one person goes missing every two minutes.

Every year this is the equivalent of the entire population of Plymouth. Visually striking, fast paced and physical, Missing probes the depths of an astoundingly underpublicized issue. Devised from first hand verbatim interviews gathered by the cast and developed in collaboration with journalists from top national newspapers, common assumptions are questioned and unheard accounts exposed.

Missing seeks, with the lightest of touches, to scrutinize the vast scale and unique mystery of disappearance. Winner of the Scottish Daily Mail Edinburgh Fringe Drama Award, this sell-out show transfered to London from a highly successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2013.
